The community of Finland is quite small, just a few hundred hearty souls and a few businesses to support them. It is located on Minnesota Highway 1, about five miles north of Lake Superior's North Shore. The Finland Co-op is the General Store of the community providing groceries and hardware items. There are three restaurants in town: Four Seasons, West Branch and Our Place.
